Flesh to Death! The Flesh to Death Conferences are hosted by Scripted Poetry, IMPACT Campus Ministry and their partners. Held on Georgia Southern University's campus, the mission is to change lives by introducing individuals to Jesus through poetry, preaching, teaching & group study. The inaugural conference, held in October 2012, introduced the world to the concept of "Killing your Flesh" in an effort to help people detach themselves from their sinful nature and letting God renew them.

~Maafa the Poet, Scripted President Flesh 2 Death Conference 2014, stylized thematically as the Renew Conference, took place on October 17 & 18. Minister Gary Swindell, Jr. and Pastor Brian Friday were the conference speakers along with many different featured artists. This year we embarked upon redefining our three FTD key concepts:
Reduce | Replenish | Reform Breakout SessionsREDUCE | Amanda Ross
We must REDUCE the influence the flesh has over our mind because the mind controls the body's actions. We have to begin to learn self discipline so that we can present ourselves holy and acceptable before God (Rom 12.1). Our flesh has motives opposite to that of the Spirit, and F2D is our opportunity to plant our feet on solid ground and begin to take control away from the enemy. By REDUCING our flesh's impulses, we grow closer to our Father. REPLENISH | Calvin Lemons, Jr. & Stacy Boyd
After learning to REDUCE the power of the flesh, we will REPLENISH, or fuel ourselves with more God. We, the church, have to be filled with God's spirit so that we can spread His message of truth to those who haven't heard it. God's spirit is light and the fire of His presence eliminates all traces of evil. Evil cannot overcome (John 1.5). REFORM | Chijioke Ohamadike
The change in the concentration of our spirit must be complemented by the total REFORMATION of the mind. We will learn to renew & set our minds on the things above (Col 3.1) and therefore let the spirit dictate our actions. We will learn to walk in the light of God's will & fulfill the duties he has called us to as individuals and as one body. We must RENEW the mind. Flesh to Death!"I've been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live through the Son of God..."
~Gal 2.20 Flesh to Death! Conference, 2012 was the inaugural FTD conference, taking place on October 17-19, 2012.
